Delete account and data
In PMDD Tracker you stay in control of your data. You can wipe all data or close the whole account from inside the app. That matches the right to erasure (GDPR Article 17).
Option 1: Delete all data (keep the account)
Want a clean start without losing the account? You can wipe the content and keep the login.
What is deleted
- All daily symptom records (DRSP scores)
- Custom symptoms
- Cycle data and history
- Support (all parts)
- Crisis contacts
- Medication and intake logs
- Notes and interference items
- All app settings
What stays
- Your account (email and login)
- You can start tracking again straight away
How to do it
- Open the PMDD Tracker app
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Account
- Tap Delete all data
- Read the warning and type the confirmation word on screen
- Tap the red delete button
Data is removed from your device and from our servers.
Option 2: Delete the account entirely
Want to stop using PMDD Tracker? You can permanently delete the account and everything with it. This cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Account details and profile
- All symptom records (DRSP)
- Custom symptoms
- Cycle data and plans
- Crisis contacts
- Medication
- All settings
- The whole account (login/email)
To prevent accidents you go through three confirmation steps. Open Settings → Account → Delete account. First you see a summary (with an export option), then a first confirmation, then you type the confirmation word on screen. After that everything is gone from device and servers for good.
What happens technically?
- Server: All data is deleted from our database (Supabase, London, United Kingdom). Account deletion also removes the auth record.
- On device: All locally stored data is wiped.
- Encryption key: Your personal key is deleted, so leftover ciphertext is unreadable.
- Irreversible: After deletion there is no way to restore your data.
Tip: export first
Use Settings → Data → Export all data (JSON, also restore) or Settings → Data → Export reports (PDF). The export includes profile, daily records, custom symptoms, cycles, Support, crisis contacts and medication.
Cannot do it from the app?
Cannot log in? Email privacy@pmddtracker.nl with the address on the account. We handle the request within 30 days under the GDPR.
